Laura Meeson promoted to director of spa at Premier Software

Laura Meeson is starting a new position at Premier Software, which became part of Journey Hospitality in March 2023.

As director of spa, Meeson will be responsible for understanding market needs, defining onejourney and Premier product enhancements, driving revenue growth and opening up new business opportunities.

Collaborating with key spa professionals and exchanging industry knowledge and expertise will be a fundamental aspect of her new role.

"I love the spa community; we are all driven by the same goal, to open spa doors to more people. There's still a lot to be done to make spas fully inclusive. As a breast cancer survivor, I am very passionate about helping spas plan their training to allow them to offer treatments to those on a cancer journey."

“My focus is to continue driving commercial success for our partners. With nearly 30 years of experience, Premier Software is tried and trusted by the majority of top spas in the UK and Ireland,” said Meeson.

“We really lean into customer insights to define the product roadmap and prioritise features.

“I will be conducting market research to identify opportunities and trends, and hope to be able to build compelling business cases for new product initiatives to enhance Premier’s industry presence.”

Meeting customer and guest expectations

Prior to joining Premier in 2007, Meeson worked in optometry, where her role was focused on meeting customer expectations. She believes this has really helped her keep Premier Software’s customers and their guests at the forefront of what she does.
