Armathwaite Hall Hotel invests £1.5 million in new spa accommodation

Armathwaite Hall Hotel & Spa, located near Keswick in the Lake District, has completed a £1.5 million investment in 12 new spa garden suites.

Finalised in May, the spa-focused accommodation is an extension of the recent development of public spaces in the hotel, including the Lake View Restaurant, lounge and reception areas.

The new spa garden suites project, instigated due to surging demand from the luxury market, demonstrates the hotel’s commitment to providing dedicated accommodation for its spa guests.

Nestled near the main house and each offering an impressive 40-50sqm, the new spa garden suites offer access to the hotel’s award-winning spa facilities and have private patios.

Luxury design

The layout of the new spa garden suites has been expertly designed in partnership with architect Unwin Jones and each room includes a generous lobby area, a four-piece bathroom, a deluxe bedroom and a lounge with garden views.

The design of the spa garden suites takes inspiration from the hotel’s natural environment with materials carefully chosen to reflect the historic architecture of Armathwaite Hall.

The décor features natural materials and textures, contemporary fireplaces and carefully designed lighting. The design schemes use natural raw materials including oak and stone, and boast calming tones such as muted greens, stormy grey blues and earthy terracotta.

The spa at Armathwaite Hall currently works with Temple Spa, Voya and CND, and it also stocks Mavala in their retail shop.
