UK Spa Association announces Spring Networking event

The UK Spa Association has announced its Spring Networking Event will be held at The Nici in Bournemouth.

Taking place on Tuesday, June 6 between 10.30am and 3.30pm, the main networking event will be followed by the National Spa Director Assembly.

The popular networking event will draw members and suppliers together for a chance to share ideas in a unique location.

Richie Norton, Mind and Movement Mentor and Diane Hey, the founder Armonia Training Academy will present thought-leadership talks during the day. Refreshments will be available throughout the day and a light lunch is also offered.

Richie Norton, Mind and Movement Mentor

Richie Norton is a former rugby player turned yogi adrenaline chaser. He suffered a series of injuries that necessitated making the life-changing transition from athlete to performance coach. His unique training methods experiment with a mix of meditation practices, callisthenics, capoeira and yoga. He will present a mindset motivational talk at the UK Spa Association event.

Diane Hey, founder, Armonia Training Academy

Diane Hey is renowned for her commitment for training and education and Armonia Training Academy is government approved to provide specialist apprenticeships to the sector across England. Hey has a passion for maintaining and raising standards and standards development and supports employers and future therapists. She will talk about how apprenticeships can work for the spa industry because there continues to be a shortage of trained staff.

The venue: The Nici, Bournemouth

The UK Spa Association has chosen The Nici as the venue for its spring event. The newly refurbished destination hotel and spa is located on Bournemouth’s West Cliff.
