CIDESCO International, the beauty and spa therapy educational organisation, has launched its Guide to Sustainable Salon and Spa – a series of guidelines compiled to encourage more salons and spas to reduce their impact on the environment.
The guide includes the basic principles of sustainability and how to plan for a more sustainable business, looking in depth at energy and water usage, waste management, product and partner choices and education. It also includes advice from members who are undertaking their own sustainability campaigns
