Luxury Scottish hotel and resort group Marine & Lawn Collection is to open an expansive spa as part of its Marine North Berwick property in early July.
Previously the Macdonald Marine Hotel & Spa, and one of the landmarks on Scotland’s ‘Golf Coast’, the recently-acquired hotel has undergone extensive renovation work.
With 92 bespoke bedrooms and events facilities for up to 200 guests with private ocean view dining, the resort also features a walled garden and fitness centre.
Design throughout the spa has taken inspiration from the surrounding seaside location with interiors pulling from the agricultural and architectural history of the area blending barley, wheat and stone with hints of lobster, midnight blue and royal amaranth.
With scenic views of the Firth of Forth and Bass Rock, Marine North Berwick is located minutes from the Muirfield golf club.
Also in July, the group’s Rusacks St Andrews hotel in North East Fife will open.
