The Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort in St Lucia has launched a new programme of holistic wellness experiences for spring.

Drawing inspiration from the island itself, the line-up features programmes including Hummingbird Yoga, Full Moon Rittal, as well as three Detox, Immunity and Weight Loss retreats.

Available as both a weekly class and for private group sessions, Hummingbird Yoga takes place in a hilltop garden. Guests are surrounded by tropical flora and fauna to attract the island’s native hummingbirds, creating a tranquil setting overlooking the sea.

An enchanting Full Moon Ritual includes a night boat ride in Labrelotte Bay, a Yin yoga session with guided meditation, as well as a signature massage treatment, communal plant-based dinner and stargazing session. Guests have the option to add a night dive with underwater breathwork for an additional fee.

In addition, a private after-hours Complete Serenity Package features an afternoon of pampering followed by a private candlelit dinner for two in the spa garden.

Guests can also choose to indulge in the Signature Couples Retreat, offering a selection of fresh body scrubs, as well as the choice between a 60-minute couple’s massage or Wellness Kur Therapy and Massage experience. Both experiences include a Mineral Wellness Bath in the Japanese soak tub and access to a private outdoor rain shower.

A Sunset Beach Picnic completes the spring wellness programming

Developed for all travellers, the Detox, Immunity and Weight Loss retreats are available as both three- and five-day programmes. The retreats feature an initial consultation, as well as personalised wellness classes and nutrition-focused services, with a wellness menu featuring six juicing options for one and three days, as well as vegan, raw and low-carb dietary options.

Guests on these retreats will also have steam room access, cupping therapy sessions and earthing and grounding sessions in the resort’s garden, as well as nature healing, therapeutic gardening and stargazing sessions.

Completing the line-up is the Sunset Beach Picnic, a private dining experience tucked away in a secluded area of the white sand beach. The ‘picture perfect’ picnic includes prosecco, wins and a selection of small bites to complement the surroundings.

Additionally, the resort offers daily activities including aqua aerobics, paddle boarding, snorkelling, beach volleyball and more. Guests can also book excursions and experiences, including Catamaran tours to Soufriere to see the Sulfur Springs, as well as ziplining and horseback riding.

“Since the start of the pandemic, our guests have become more health-conscious and wellness-oriented, which has inspired us reflect on how we deliver a meaningful practice,” says Alex Danila, director of spa and wellness at Windjammer.

“We’re using our idyllic setup to inspire travellers from all around the world to practice meaningful wellness through these programmes so they’ll leave our slice of heaven feeling fully rejuvenated.”
