Swinton Estate’s new spa manager, Victoria Rickett, has returned to the place of work where she began her spa career 15 years ago.
The £8m Swinton Country Club and Spa launched in July 2017. Designed by Bowman-Riley architects, the 2,000sqm spa is located at the estate’s country club and incorporates renovated historic buildings surrounded by an original walled garden. Spa partners include Elemis, Bamford, Kure Bazaar, Orly and Kissed by Mii.
Rickett became a therapist at Swinton in 2006 before joining Rockliffe Hall as treatment manager and later spa manager.
Speaking about her new role, Victoria said: “The team at Swinton have done a fabulous job of creating a unique offer and I really want to showcase this and take us to the next level.”
Featuring a contemporary design with a natural aesthetic, reflecting its location within a 20,000-acre environment, the Country Club and Spa within Swinton Estate was the creation of owner Felicity Cunliffe.
Victoria added: “Felicity is the visionary behind the spa and I want to breathe life into her vision by making Swinton the place to go for wellness retreats and digital detoxes.”
