The Spa at Bedford Lodge appoints new spa manager

The Spa at Bedford Lodge in Newmarket has appointed Kate Lake to the role of spa manager. 

A seasoned beauty professional with more than 20 years experience in the spa and beauty industries, Lake holds a National Diploma of Beauty Therapy and Applied Science and has previously worked at the Qi Spa at David Lloyd in Cambridge, UK.

In her new role, Lake will be responsible for overseeing the spa’s facilities, managing the spa team and, due to the current unprecedented demand for spa experiences, recruiting additional therapists.

Commenting on her appointment, Lake said: “I’m delighted to be joining the team as spa manager at The Spa at Bedford Lodge Hotel at such an exciting time. As we’re settling into life post-lockdown, I’m looking forward to welcoming guests, both new and old, back to the spa to provide a first-class experience.

“Starting my role just before Christmas is also particularly exciting as it’s the spa’s busiest time of year with lots of festive activities to be involved with.”
