Ritz-Carlton makes Jordan debut with new Amman property

Ritz-Carlton, part of Marriott Bonvoy’s 30-strong hotel brand portfolio, has debuted in Jordan with the opening of the Ritz-Carlton, Amman in the country’s capital city. 

Centrally situated in the heart of Amman on the prestigious Fifth Circle, Ritz-Carlton, Amman has been described as ‘ushering in a new standard of refined hospitality’ and welcomes guests to enjoy ‘thoughtfully tailored experiences that capture the spirit of Jordan’s beauty and hospitality.’

A haven of wellness

The 20-storey property offers 228 guest rooms, including 34 guest suites, and a spa. 

Billed as a haven of wellness and relaxation, the Ritz-Carlton Spa has six treatment rooms, a relaxation pool, several lounges, saunas, steam rooms, a state-of-the-art fitness centre and the largest Jacuzzi in Amman. 

Treatments include personalised facials, body therapies and massages from luxury spa and wellbeing brand ESPA, which has recently partnered with The Ritz-Carlton to develop new Meaningful Wellness Journeys that will be rolled out at select Ritz-Carlton properties worldwide.

Opulent design at Ritz-Carlton, Amman

The property’s interior design was helmed by London-based design firm Wimberly Interiors London and draws inspiration from the country’s rich heritage, combining bold interior architecture and contemporary artistry with tailored lighting and Art Deco-inspired details. 

All suites and guest rooms have been intricately designed and elegantly furnished, with the suites available in several opulent designs, while the floor finishes in the corridors pay tribute to Jordan’s deserts. 

Distinctive dining

Ritz-Carlton, Amman also offers several distinct dining options, including the property’s signature restaurant, Roberto’s. Located on the hotel’s 20th floor, Roberto’s is set to become one of the city’s most ‘exciting new lifestyle’ spots and offers authentic Italian fine dining. 

Other venues include Ambros, a relaxed all-day dining venue serving reimagined classics with seasonal produce; Iris, a tea lounge offering high tea experiences and pâtisserie; and Sarab Garden, a shisha lounge offering high-end regional cuisine. 

The line-up is completed by The Founders Rooms, a cigar and whisky lounge; Legends, an American-style sports bar; and Soleil, a healthy-eating restaurant and coffee roastery offering vegetarian dishes and unique coffee blends.

Exceptional standard of luxury 

The property offers 90 spacious residences and residents will not only be able to enjoy the amenities available at the hotel, which also include a luxurious Club Lounge, a 1,050sqm Grand Ballroom, a board room and five meeting rooms, but will have access to a private pool, private cinema, games rooms and store.
