The Gainsborough Bath Spa partners with Omorovicza

YTL Hotels’ The Gainsborough Bath Spa has introduced a new wellness partnership with Hungarian skincare brand, Omorovicza.

The collaboration will add five new mineral cure rituals to the hotel’s Spa Village Bath menu.

Encapsulating the healing minerals of Budapest’s thermal waters, the Omorovicza brand is aligned with The Gainsborough, which is renowned for its exclusive access to Bath’s natural thermal springs.

Channeling Bath’s thermal heritage

Located in the centre of Bath, The Gainsborough’s Spa Village and Bath House are fed by naturally warm, mineral-rich waters.

Spa Village Bath offers a contemporary perspective on the city’s thermal water heritage.

Set beneath a glass atrium, the spa offers three thermal baths, traditional and infrared saunas, a steam room and an ice alcove.

“Omorovicza is a pioneer in recognising the healing powers of thermal springs and the incredible benefits that these waters and minerals can provide,” said Marc Mac Closkey, general manager at The Gainsborough Bath Spa.

“Our unique access to the city’s thermal waters is at the core of our Spa Village, so this is a natural collaboration that will complement, and further enhance, our guests’ experience.”

Blending the thermal springs of Bath and Budapest

Omorovicza was founded in Budapest by Stephen de Heinrich de Omorovicza and his wife Margaret.

Gainsborough Bath Spa’s new Omorovicza mineral cure ritual treatments contain the brand’s patented Healing Concentrate.

Treatments range from full-body massages and mineral mud scrubs to revitalising and hydrating facials, enabling guests to benefit from the thermal springs of both Bath and Budapest.

Omorovicza rituals at Spa Village Bath

The 85-minute Hungarian Mud Detox uses curative mineral-rich Hungarian Moor Mud from Lake Hévíz to provide a detoxifying and cleansing treatment. It begins with a gentle exfoliation, followed by a deep cleansing mud mask and a warming stone massage.

A bespoke Mineral Revitalising Facial is tailored to individual skin needs with selected Omorovicza products.

The 80-minute Gold Hydrating Mineral Facial harnesses the skin-strengthening power of colloidal gold. A potent anti-inflammatory, it works to restore the skin’s barrier.

The new treatments will be in addition to The Gainsborough Bath Spa’s current spa menu and wellness offering.
