Temple Spa partners with Amethyst Trust

Luxury British brand Temple Spa has partnered for training with registered charity Amethyst Trust to deliver specialist cancer massage training in all of its spas.

Amethyst Trust offers a specialist training course focused on a new approach to treating spa or salon guests who have cancer. The charity was established as an initiative between John Holman Therapy Solutions and the International Beauty and Holistic Academy.

“It’s so important for us that every spa guest should feel included rather than excluded and vital that our therapists have the knowledge, empathy and understanding to perform these treatments,” said Temple Spa’s head of spa, Sarah Ronchetti.

Launched in 2000, Temple Spa’s portfolio includes premium spas, boutique hotels, first-class airlines and more than 2,000 independent lifestyle consultants.

The brand has created a specially adapted menu of treatments that are suitable for those who are medically frail, recovering from illness or are immuno-compromised, such as those recovering from cancer. The treatments are adaptable and customisable to allow therapists to create bespoke therapies that best suit the guest’s needs.
