Subtle Energies announces residency with Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona

Subtle Energies, an Australia-based aromatherapy and Ayurveda brand, has announced a new partnership with the spa at the Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona. 

Throughout May, the spa will offer Subtle Energies’ results-driven holistic treatments. Powered by 30 years of clinical research and proven, ancient practices, the highly-personalised rituals target issues such as insomnia and skin and body concerns, as well as contribute to good physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.

Subtle Energies Sleep Support Therapy

Available treatments include the Subtle Energies Sleep Support Therapy, billed as ‘an ideal holistic sleep support’. The 105-minute ritual combines guided meditation, yogic pranayama breathing and Blissful Marma full-body massage to release tension and rebalance the body.

It also includes the Facial Marma massage, using potent ingredients designed to stimulate the pineal gland, which regulates hormones including melatonin. The treatment concludes with the application of Nasya, a nasal oil that has been used for centuries to alleviate sleeplessness.

It includes a purifying skin cleanse and a ‘dynamic double mask’ designed to deliver hydration deep into the skin. It also uses the brand’s signature Facial Marma massage techniques to help release muscular tension and relieve anxiety, while skin is left luminous and visibly smoother.

Blissful Marma Massage

Finally, the Blissful Marma Massage is a 90-minute experience designed to offer effective and immediate relaxation and relieve stress-related tension.
