The 2022 edition of must-attend spa and wellness event SpaFest will take place at five-star eco-resort Gwel an Mor in Cornwall, UK, from September 26-28, 2022.

Focusing on people, planet and health, SpaFest 2022 will build on the success of last year’s event and aims to connect spa leaders and industry visionaries on a ‘truly personal level.’

SpaFest will include wellbeing workshops including yoga, sound therapy and wild swimming sessions

A full event programme has yet to be announced, however, this year’s SpaFest will include education sessions and heartfelt discussions, led by key industry figures and wellness experts, on the latest wellness trends including wellbeing in the workplace and leadership, exploring how sustainable strategies can be integrated into business.

Wellbeing workshops on offer include yoga, meditation and sound therapy. Wild swimming off Portreath Beach and shirin yoku – also known as forest bathing – in the ancient Tehidy woods are also available.

“Last year was pivotal for SpaFest. The post-pandemic desire to reconnect with the powerful themes of people, planet and health was breathtaking.”

Founder of SpaFest and managing director of Made for Life Organics

“Last year was pivotal for SpaFest. The post-pandemic desire to reconnect with the powerful themes of people, planet and health was breathtaking.

“2022 will see European Spa joining forces to build on the themes of heartfelt wellness leadership and trends for 2022 and beyond,” said SpaFest founder Amanda Winwood and co-organiser and European Spa founding editor Sarah Camilleri

“As always SpaFest provides many opportunities to simply enjoy conversations with like-minded colleagues and enjoy the beautiful landscapes of Cornwall,” they added.

The event will include education sessions with leading wellness experts

SpaFest 2022 will also see the launch of SpaFest Gives Back, a charitable initiative that will include an event held at the award-winning Carden Park Hotel Resort & Spa for 80 people living with cancer.

SpaFest is also a key fundraiser for the Made For Life Foundation, the sister charity to organic skincare and lifestyle brand Made for Life Organics. Founded by Winwood, the Made for Life Foundation has offered support to more than 10,000 people diagnosed with and recovering from cancer since it was established in 2008.

Additional money raised at SpaFest 2022 will be contacted to charities linked to people and planet.

“2022 will see European Spa joining forces to build on the themes of heartfelt wellness leadership and trends for 2022 and beyond.”
