Spa Business Education becomes CIDESCO-accredited

Online management trainer Spa Business Education has been accredited as an official CIDESCO school, giving its students the chance to gain even broader qualifications.

Those learning with the spa management training company, which is part of wellness consultancy group Raison d’Etre, will now be able to earn a CIDESCO Beauty & Spa Management diploma as well as their Spa Management certificate.

Graduate students of Spa Business Education will also be allowed to take the exam and gain the extra certification.

To mark the CIDESCO accreditation, eight SBE graduates sucessfully took and passed the course, and even their mentors, Nikos Kouremenos and Michael Simonato completed the qualification, enabling them to become examiners for all future exams.

Among those first to have completed the exam were Shahin Gadimov, spa manager at the Ritz-Carlton Almaty in Kazakhstan, and Nelmarie Swanepoel, spa manager at SeaDream Yacht Club in South Africa.

“I am very grateful to Raison d’Etre for this opportunity,” said Gadimov. “I am very happy to become a CIDESCO-certified spa manager. I now feel more confident and I am sure it will boost my career further.”
