Clean beauty brand Seed to Skin Tuscany has entered into a partnership with aesthetic medicine pioneer, Dr Arthur Swift.

The collaboration will involve Dr Swift helping the Italian brand to develop educational programmes for skincare professionals.

A pioneer in dermatological science and skin physiology, Dr Swift joins Seed to Skin as an investor, board member and research partner.

In his role as a plastic surgeon, he has conducted extensive research into natural-looking rejuvenation and skin-first philosophies. His initial work with Seed to Skin will involve developing new formulations to meet the needs of medical spa environments.

Seed to Skin’s founder, botanist and formulator Jeanette Thottrup, has spent more than a decade perfecting the brand’s Alchemy Matrix with lead scientist, Dr Anna Buonocore.

With his understanding of skin biology, cellular behaviour and clinical dermatology Dr Swift will now join Thottrup and Dr Buonocore to advance their work.

Together they will focus on cellular regeneration and the relationship between botanicals and skin health.

“Dr Swift’s depth of clinical knowledge: how skin heals, reacts and thrives at a biological level, gives us access to insights we’ve never had before. His career has exposed him to the world's most advanced skincare innovations so his recognition of Seed to Skin’s quality speaks volumes.”

Skincare for media spa settings

Dr Swift has spent much of his career redefining aesthetic medicine through an evidence-based, skin-first lens. His analysis of how skin responds to ingredients will now help Seed to Skin refine its approach.

The brand will use his expertise to further validate its bioactive complexes for use in medical settings. Together they will develop new formulations for medical spa environments.

“Rather than rushing to market with new products, we’re taking the time to do this right,” explained Seed to Skin’s founder, Jeanette Thottrup. “With Dr Swift on board, we now gain access to advanced dermatological data, clinical insights and a profound understanding of skin biology.

“This isn’t about filling a gap, we’re aiming to redefine the skincare industry and how knowledge is shared at every stage of production.”

“What drew me to Seed to Skin Tuscany was their unwavering commitment to transparency, results and the deep-rooted integrity of their ingredients. In an era of quick fixes, they’ve proven that nature, when harnessed with scientific precision, can rival even the most advanced dermatologic innovations.”

“My work has always been about enhancing the skin’s innate vitality, never masking it,” said Dr Swift. “Here, we share the same ethos.

“We are poised to challenge conventional boundaries between natural skincare and clinical efficacy, creating a new paradigm for transformative results.”

Seed to Skin’s products are grown, formulated and tested on the Borgo Santo Pietro estate in Tuscany estate. The brand merges regenerative farming with biotechnological innovation.
