Irish skincare brand Seabody has achieved certified B Corporation status, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to cellular health and sustainability.

B Corp status requires brands to meet a rigorous set of standards of social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency.

Certification follows a rigorous assessment by B Lab gauging excellence in five impact areas: governance, workers, community, environment and customers.

Seabody will be required to re-certify every three years and contribute to economic systems change that benefits all.

“Achieving B Corp status affirms our core values, science-led innovation, environmental stewardship and social responsibility while embedding transparency and stakeholder governance across our business. We're proud to stand among companies leading a global movement to redefine how business impacts the world.”

“As a B Corp, Seabody commits to balancing profit with purpose, prioritising the wellbeing of its customers, employees, communities and the planet,” said Seabody founder, Dr Helena McMahon.

“Achieving B Corp certification is not a finish line for Seabody but a continuous journey.”
