Seabody achieves certified B Corporation status

Irish skincare brand Seabody has achieved certified B Corporation status, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to cellular health and sustainability.

B Corp status requires brands to meet a rigorous set of standards of social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency.

Certification follows a rigorous assessment by B Lab gauging excellence in five impact areas: governance, workers, community, environment and customers.

Seabody will be required to re-certify every three years and contribute to economic systems change that benefits all.

“As a B Corp, Seabody commits to balancing profit with purpose, prioritising the wellbeing of its customers, employees, communities and the planet,” said Seabody founder, Dr Helena McMahon.

“Achieving B Corp certification is not a finish line for Seabody but a continuous journey.”

New spa partnerships

Seabody is a luxury biotech brand, with products that utilise the regenerative power of marine bioactives. Its skincare, supplements and wellness experiences are dedicated to optimising cellular health through holistic biotechnology.

McMahon is a cellular biochemist with more than 20 years of experience in biotechnology, cellular therapeutics and bioactive natural ingredients. Seabody’s plant-based products harness the regenerative power of ocean algae from the Irish Atlantic coastline.

The brand recently announced a new spa partnership with Carton House, Fairmont near Dublin, Ireland’s first Fairmont property.

Carton House Spa has introduced exclusive Seabody treatments, curated to align with the spa’s commitment to purposeful wellness.

The Seabody and Carton House Golf Recovery Ritual blends marine wellness with bespoke therapeutic techniques designed for post-golf recovery while the Seabody Connect Full Body Massage has been designed to help guests disconnect from the everyday and reconnect  with themselves.

The Seabody Touch Facial Ritual uses sculpting massage, fascia release and lymphatic techniques to deliver visibly lifted, brighter and rebalanced skin.
