The newly opened Rosewood Amsterdam has introduced its Asaya spa, said to be a first-of-its-kind urban wellness destination in the Netherlands.

Located within the historic former Palace of Justice, the property features 134 guest rooms, including five signature suites, many with views of the city’s iconic canals and rooftops.

Embracing Rosewood’s A Sense of Place philosophy, Asaya spa draws inspiration from Dutch nature, culture, and design. It aims to offer guests an elevated wellness experience that is both deeply personal and holistic.

Spanning 560sqm, the spa features five treatment rooms (including a couples’ suite), a 12-metre indoor pool, sauna, steam room and a 24-hour fitness centre.

Bathed in soft, natural light, the Asaya spa has been designed by Studio Piet Boon to awaken the senses and embody the elements of wood, water, wind and fire.
