Miraval Group appoints Jacqueline Berry to lead spa and wellness

The Miraval Group has named Jacqueline Berry as its new group director of spa and wellbeing. 

In her new role, Berry will oversee the Life in Balance Spas across the Miraval Resorts portfolio – including its award-winning resorts; Miraval Berkshires, Miraval Arizona and Miraval Austin – as well as the brand’s integrative wellbeing programme. 

She will work alongside each property to reinforce the brand’s mission and honour its heritage by supporting the brand’s signature treatments.

High-profile appointment

An industry veteran, Berry has been working in spas since 1996 and began her career as a massage therapist with Steiner Leisure Limited, where she was the youngest crew member aboard the Sun Princess cruise ship.

She has since gone on to hold several high-profile roles at brands such as Canyon Ranch, Regent Seven Seas Cruise and Lake Austin Spa Resort. 

Most recently, she served as general manager at the Miraval Life in Balance Spa at the Monarch Beach Resort, where she implemented several new signature spa services, including a mindful eating experience and creative expression workshops, and launched over 30 new spiritual wellbeing classes. 

Bringing spa and wellness concepts to life
