Medical Wellness Congress gearing up for event in Austria

The inaugural Medical Wellness Congress (MWC) will take a holistic approach to wellness, exploring topics such as ageing well, medical research, aesthetics, mindfulness and rest.

This year’s event, titled ‘The Healing Power of Self-Awareness and the Integration of Health in Wellness’, will take place on June 27-28 at the St Martins Spa & Lodge, outside Vienna in Austria.

The event will bring together wellness experts and medical practitioners who share a common goal – to enhance the physical, mental, emotional and social wellbeing of their clients.

It will feature seven conferences, where industry experts and medical practitioners will discuss the different ways of integrating health and wellness and share their vision for the medical wellness sector.

The opening keynote will be delivered by guest of honour Dr George Gaitanos, scientific director and COO of the Chenot Group, who will lead a session entitled: Integrating Health into Wellness; the Chenot Perspective.

Other speakers include Alberto Apostoli, spa architect and owner of Studio Apostoli; Andrew Gibson, international wellness and hospitality expert; Laszlo Pucko, Health Tourism Worldwide CEO; and Dr Igor Roganin, leader of the DAO Clinic in Russia. 

Bärbel Frey, MD of the Aqua Dome thermal spa in Austria; Martin Goldman, CEO of ASPA; and Rainer Bolsinger CSO & CMO Artofcryo.com, a division of L&R Kältetechnik, will also be speaking.

A host of networking opportunities and workshops hosted by brands such as Biologique Recherche, Olivier Claire, Gharieni, Corpoderm, Artofcryo.com and Crystal Connexion, completes the event line-up. 

The MWC is organised by Health and Beauty France, a subsidiary of Bolognafiere Cosmoprof, managed by Pradip Bala with support from Forum HOTel & Spa founder Vladi Kovanic.
