Preferred Hotels and Resorts has opened Maison Albar – Le Victoria in Nice, France with a 650sqm spa.

Oria Spa has a 10m marble pool, private hot tubs, a hammam and a sauna, with heat experiences supplied by Monaco-based Hydroconcept.

As well as a rooftop pool at the top of the hotel, there are seven treatment rooms, two relaxation lounges, a fitness area and a hair and beauty studio.

“ Oria Spa is an exceptional place, not only because of its architecture, but also because of our signature haute couture treatment, created by the entire team. It is specially designed ‘for and around’ the guest, so each treatment is truly unique.”

Spa manager, Oria Spa

“Our use of technology makes the Oria experience even more efficient. Unique in Nice, we have a Vital Dôme, offering the latest generation of infratherapy,” said spa manager Sandy Montoya.

Designed and manufactured in France, the Vital Dôme offers detoxifying, regenerating and weight loss benefits.

It has 38 programmes, with benefits from stress relief and feeling revitalised being felt within the first 15 minutes.

In treatments, the spa uses Seed to Skin as well as Swiss brand La Colline. The signature facial uses Giusto Manetti Battiloro’s pure 24kt cosmetic Beauty Gold, made in Italy.

Crafted by French architect and designer firm MHNA, Maison Albar – Le Victoria and Oria Spa are the vision of Marc Hertrich and Nicolas Adnet.

Located near Nice’s old town, the hotel features 132 rooms and suites. Nautical interiors inspired by the Côte d’Azur are complemented by art deco touches. The decor is a contemporary interpretation of the spirit of the 1930s.

There is also a luxury shopping gallery at the foot of the hotel and the Mediterranean-inspired rooftop restaurant Taulissa, helmed by Michelin-level chefs Glenn Viel and Fred Grava.

Oria Spa offers a selection of treatments for children aged six to 12 and their families.

Treatments include a 30-minute purity facial using products from Nougatine Paris, designed to help younger guests initiate a home care routine and the Gourmet Getaway.

This hour-long session is dedicated to wellbeing and combines a 30-minute Gourmet Facial with a repose for Princes and Princesses.
