Leading European medical wellbeing group Lanserhof has launched a series of packages designed to tackle long-Covid at its Austrian facility, Lanserhof Lans.

Combining extensive diagnostics with exercise, fasting, nutritional supplementation and CellGym metabolic activation, the programmes are aimed at fighting neuro-inflammation, or long-Covid.

Described as a ‘silent inflammatory reaction’, long-Covid is understood to happen after the initial viral infection has ended, with the body’s inflammatory response persisting and continuing. This can result in symptoms including a persistent feeling of tiredness, exhaustion and listlessness, which vary in severity for each individual.

Lanserhof’s new packages include a two-week option alongside an advanced stay that also includes internal and cardiological examinations as well as laboratory analysis including micro-immune profile screening blood analysis.

Lanserhof is set to launch its new health resort property, Lanserhof Sylt, in January 2022. The group’s portfolio currently includes Lanserhof Lans near Innsbruck in Austria; Lanserhof Tegernsee in Bavaria, Germany; LANS Medicum and LANS Cardio in Hamburg, Germany and Lanserhof at The Arts Club in London, UK.
