Katalin O’Nagy has been appointed as the new spa manager at Kempinski The Spa Budapest in Hungary.

Tasked with evolving the spa offering with care and intention, O’Nagy intends to focus on what the spa is doing well and explore how to elevate it further.

Speaking exclusively to European Spa, O’Nagy said: “As spa manager my role is to lead the team in delivering a high-level wellness experience that feels personal, professional and aligned with Kempinski’s commitment to luxury hospitality.

“I’m here to support the team, oversee operations and implement consistency, emotional engagement and thoughtful touches to ensure guests leave feeling lighter and more grounded.”

“I’m spending this early stage really observing how guests respond, what treatments they’re drawn to and how we can better meet their needs. I see great potential in engaging with the local market, offering experiences that feel relevant to people who live and work in Budapest, not just those staying with us.”

“I will also be keeping an eye on innovation and sustainability. Wellness is always evolving; I want to ensure what we offer feels not only luxurious but also current and in tune with our guests’ values.”

”I believe when a team feels supported, proud of what they do and genuinely seen, it directly enhances the quality of the guest experience. That’s the foundation I want to build on.”
