Kamalaya Koh Samui partners with Paar to offer pre-arrival screening for guests

Thailand-based wellness resort Kamalaya Koh Samui has partnered with Paar, a London-based vitality and longevity company, to offer a bespoke pre-arrival screening service, including health and wellbeing assessments to complement and enhance the experiences on offer at the resort. 

The tests were designed by Paar’s expert panel to correspond with Kamalaya’s wellness programmes, including Resilience & Immunity, Enriched Gut, Sleep Enhancement, Detox & Rejuvenate, Ideal Weight, Wellbeing Sabbatical and Balance & Revitalise, to provide valuable insight into guests’ health and wellbeing requirements. 

They evaluate several key factors such as guests’ skin DNA, antioxidant and vitamin levels, food intolerances, mineral balance and toxicity, and microbiome and gut health. Genetic tests for sleep, nutrition and fitness traits are also on offer, as well as for predisposition to diseases and epigenetic and biological age.

Guests can also create their own wellbeing and longevity assessments or match their assessments to their chosen wellbeing programme. Based on the findings, programmes can be tailored to support each guest’s unique biology, genetics and DNA, allowing for a more fulfilling wellness experience. 

Results can also be used to identify any unmet needs that require correcting in order to optimise health, improve vitality, enhance life quality and increase longevity.
