Investment board backs Trybe software

The spa booking and management platform has received significant investment to expand the platform and develop new integrated services

Trybe, a supplier of cloud-based software for the spa industry, has received significant corporate investment to fast-track the platform’s growth. 

Aiming to provide spas with the most advanced software programme on the market, the investment will see the creation of several new integrated services, as well as the acceleration of its software development and expansion of its customer service team.

The investment board consists of several investors, including:

  • Michael Murphy MBE; who has worked as COO at The Financial Times, CEO at Friends Reunited and executive director of Quidco.
  • John Davis; who has also been appointed to Trybe’s board and has previously worked as CFO at Pearson Inc, Yell Group and The Financial Times.
  • Steve Pankhurst; who founded Friends Reunited and has invested in several start-ups including nightlife discovery website Designmynight and Fixflo. 
  • Tim Ward; who has held marketing roles at several companies such as Vodafone, The Financial Times and Friends Reunited.

Trybe’s latest development

Founded in 2020 by Will Taylor-Jackson. Steve Porter and Ricky Daniels, Trybe has signed on more than 31 operators while still in its infancy.

Its features include live availability on customer bookings and rota management, streamlined inventory management, automated payment systems at point-of-booking and comprehensive analytics to drive data-backed decisions. 

Its latest development is no-show protection, which prevents spas from losing money due to non-attendance.
