Hotel Hubertus in South Tyrol has revealed new facilities and expanded the Alpenreych Spa following a redesign over the winter.

The reimagined wellness spaces now include a newly enlarged indoor pool by Herokal, panoramic relaxation zones and nature-inspired treatment rooms.

The upgraded 7,000sqm Alpenreych Spa has also revealed an enriched wellness philosophy and a new treatment menu.

The hotel, which is located on a plateau above the Puster Valley, has a distinct stilted design so it appears suspended between earth and sky.

New therapies include the Total Body Massage, designed to dissolve tension and restore energetic balance, and the Kobido Massage. This is a traditional Japanese facial that delivers a natural lifting effect without invasive techniques.

The hotel’s Alpenreych Spa gives guests the choice of seven different saunas, six heated pools, relaxation rooms and numerous wellness treatments using Babor and Team Dr. Joseph.

Robes and towels are supplied by Prima and uniforms by Milesi.

In the outside area, the Alpenreych Park has been redesigned to include a new Kneipp pond, offering the therapeutic benefits of hydrotherapy.

The Kneipp pond was made by a local company called Gärtnerei Oberlechner. The outdoor loungers are from RAUCH Garden and Home.

There is also new thematic orchard path and loungers overlooking the mountains.

The renovation marks not only a physical expansion but a renewed focus on holistic wellbeing, offering a deeper, more immersive experience.

Heaven and Hell at Hotel Hubertus

The hotel’s Heaven & Hell area is a unique free-floating two-storey steel wellness platform, which is connected via an elegant walkway from the new relaxation room.

With some of its wellness cabins upside down on the underside of the platform, Heaven & Hell gives guests a new perspective of wellness.

The upper ‘Heaven’ level feature lie-down and seated whirlpools, plus panoramic showers while the lower ‘Hell’ level has two saunas, a whirlpool and an ice room.

Pools were supplied by PIKON Edelstahl and saunas by Herokal.

Both the suspended wellness platform and the cantilevered pool were created by noa* architects.
