Hoar Cross Hall in Staffordshire has announced the opening of a new £3 million spa terrace.

The terrace has a three-pool deck, a rustic sauna and a relaxation room, as well as a lounge with a bar, outdoor relaxation beds, cabanas and fire pits.

It adds an additional 2,000sqm to the Spa at Hoar Cross Hall’s offer, making it now one of the largest spas in Europe.

The terrace enhances Hoar Cross Hall’s already expansive spa offering, which includes a hydrotherapy pool, hot tub and a salt water pool.

There is a Nordic heat and ice suite, an Aqua Massage area and a detox centre with a saunarium, sauna and steam room.

Additional spa facilities include the snooze room with heated water beds, the relax zone and the sanctum, featuring hanging pods and relaxation beds.

The new pool deck features three large spa pools, measuring 15sqm each, heated to 38°C. Each has built-in massage jets and relaxing benches to promote overall wellness.

There are also cold tubs, made from aged whiskey barrels and supplied by Brass Monkey, with temperatures as low as 3°C.

The outdoor dry stone-heated sauna overlooks the pools and the relax room is equipped with eight adjustable relaxation beds.

The new lounge features a striking 300-year-old olive tree and a suspended fireplace, and the six poolside cabanas are made from rustic cedar wood with a fabric canopy.

Treatments at Hoar Cross Hall are provided by Elemis, VOYA and Grown Alchemist.

In April last year, Hoar Cross Hall announced it had invested £1.5m in a new biomass heating system, to reduce its CO2 emissions by over 40% and ensure it remains ahead of the curve when it comes to energy consumption and environmental impact.
