Grand Resort Bad Ragaz has revealed details of its new Journey to Inner Vitality Retreat, in collaboration with Kamalaya Koh Samui.

Running from 26 October to 1 November, the Swiss resort’s new retreat offering was devised alongside the internationally acclaimed wellness sanctuary in Thailand.

The immersive experience will bring together Kamalaya’s integrative, holistic healing traditions alongside a heritage of wellbeing rooted in Grand Resort Bad Ragaz’s healing waters.

“This unique partnership brings together the resort’s century long tradition of wellbeing, centred around its mineral-rich thermal waters, with Kamalaya’s holistic approach to nurturing mind, body and spirit.”

A multifaceted retreat

Kamalaya Wellness Sanctuary is known for integrating the wisdom of Eastern healing traditions with the science of Western medicine.

Grand Resort Bad Ragaz has worked with the Kamalaya team to create a transformative journey, designed to relieve the pressures of modern life.

As one of Europe’s leading wellness and medical health resorts, Grand Resort Bad Ragaz is well know for its healing thermal waters – the ‘blue gold’ of Bad Ragaz – discovered in 1242.

The Journey to Inner Vitality retreat utilises these deeply restorative waters, as well as movement and mindfulness treatments inspired by Kamalaya’s Eastern healing traditions.

“At Kamalaya, we believe wellbeing is a deeply personal journey, one that unfolds when the body, mind and inner self are brought into harmony. Our collaboration with Grand Resort Bad Ragaz reflects a natural synergy, where the healing power of the restorative thermal waters complements our holistic approach to transformation.”

Gopal Kumar

General manager and group director of wellness development, Kamalaya

“Together, we will offer guests a unique opportunity to pause, reconnect, and rediscover their vitality,” adds Kumar. “We will blend refined wellness experiences with meaningful inner work to create something truly enriching and lasting.”

The retreat will offer a multifaceted programme within a space for reconnection and renewal, designed to restore inner balance, strength and overall vitality.

Either a three or a four-day experience, The Journey to Inner Vitality will include a 90-minute Kamalaya Signature Treatment, which works on the body’s three main energy centres to harmonize and balance life force energy.

Guests will also experience a Kamalaya Mentor Workshop, which explores the brain’s natural responses to fear and stress, three meditation practices, Kneipp Walk sessions and sound and floating therapies.
