Elite Hotels has appointed Graham Copeman as its new managing director. He succeeds Graeme Bateman, who has led the group for the past three decades. Bateman will assume the role of executive chairman of Elite Hotels and its charitable arm, the Rotherwick Foundation.
Copeman joins Elite Hotels from his previous role at Exclusive Collection, where he served as general manager at Pennyhill Park for over six years.
His extensive hospitality career also includes leadership positions with The Zetter Group, St James’s Hotel & Club and the Goring, London.
Copeman brings a wealth of experience to his role at Elite Hotels’ three properties, Tylney Hall Hotel, Hampshire, Ashdown Park Hotel & Country Club, East Sussex and the Grand Hotel, Eastbourne.
