Gharieni appoints Florentina Matei to lead strategic business development

Gharieni has announced the appointment of Florentina Matei to the role of strategic business development manager. 

In her new role, Matei will be responsible for identifying and implementing development strategies across new market areas, she will also work closely with the sales team to create new business opportunities. 

In addition, Matei will manage all of the company’s established wellness technology concepts, such as the MLX I3 Dome, and drive their growth.

Matei has been based in Dubai for more than 20 years, and, prior to her appointment at Gharieni, worked primarily in skincare and medical aesthetics, holding executive positions at companies such as Medica Group and EMA Aesthetics. 

“Having worked in the clinical aesthetics field for a long time, there is no doubt that wellness is the direction, especially for the medical environment – and not just spa,” she said.

“Gharieni’s results-focused innovative technologies provide the needed link that will bridge the gap between these two worlds. I’m thrilled to contribute to this important new focus and direction.”
