Fiona Collins named general manager of the Irish Spa Association

Collins brings with more than 20 years experience in the health and wellness industries

The Irish Spa Association (ISA) has announced the appointment of Fiona Collins to the role of general manager. 

Collins joins the ISA with more than 20 years’ experience having previously served as spa and fitness manager at The Brehon Hotel & Angsana Spa in Killarney, Ireland and assistant spa director at the Madinat Jumeriah resort in Dubai. 

In 2020, she founded the Spa Wellness Consultancy, where she works on development projects to create unique and authentic spa and wellness experiences that are both commercially and sustainably viable. 

She has also recently completed her 200 hours of yoga teacher training.

“On behalf of Anita Murray, myself and The Irish Spa Association, we’re delighted to announce that Fiona Collins has been appointed general manager to lead the team through the next year,” ISA co-founder Peigin Crowley told European Spa. 

“Our industry has seen difficult changes in recent years and we really look forward to coming together as a community to support and build strategy for the future.” 

Commenting on her appointment, Collins said: “I’m delighted to be part of the ISA team and excited to help grow and cement its place within the industry.”
