Following its opening in July, Chapter Chianti in Tuscany, Italy has revealed F.A.R.M. Social, it’s 500sqm spa space.

Located within the property’s 17th-century borgo, F.A.R.M. Social stands for Forever a Relaxed Mood.

The spa offers holistic relaxation, extending the property’s philosophy of revival and vibrancy into a space built for slowing down rather than switching off.

At its centre sits an indoor pool circuit, drawing inspiration from ancient Roman bathhouses.

Five signature swimming pools are designed to be moved through slowly, in tandem with a Turkish steam bath, sauna and dry hammam.

“F.A.R.M. is our take on a more social kind of wellness,” said spa manager, Federico Lorenzi.

“It’s not about whispering your way through a spa; it’s about slowing down, feeling good and sharing the experience.

“We wanted F.A.R.M. to have the same relaxed, contemporary energy as Chapter Chianti – a place to retreat, but also a place to connect.”

Signature rituals

Chapter Chianti is the second property for the Chapter Italia Group and F.A.R.M. Social is the group’s first fully realised spa concept.

There are three treatment rooms where signature rituals and bespoke facials by 111Skin are on offer.

There is also a 130sqm Panatta-equipped fitness centre and an outdoor padel court.

Chapter Chianti is the Chapter Italia Group's second property, in a 17th-century medieval village

Chapter Chianti is set within a restored 17th-century medieval village. The 82-room hotel sits within 99 acres of Chianti countryside and olive groves.

The hotel and spa was designed by the South African interiors expert, Tristan Du Plessis. The contemporary design is complemented by original stone walls, vaulted ceilings and centuries old architecture.
