Cora Hotel and Spa Resort has opened its new Elysium Spa near the village of Afitos, in Greece.

Part of Zeus International Hotels and Resorts, the 181 guest rooms afford views of the sea and surrounding Halkidiki countryside.

The Elysium Spa, designed by Eleni Spartsi from the architectural firm Schema 4, is located in a former restaurant below the lobby.

Guests are welcomed with a panoramic view across the sea towards the hills and mountains of Halkidiki. This allows them to truly connect with the natural surroundings.

“Cora Hotel and Spa Resort was an exciting project to be part of; a complete renovation of an old hotel with the addition of a spa and wellness facility to elevate the guests overall experience.”

“I have been involved from the beginning with the investors and architects and worked with them to create the spa and wellness offering for an ageing hotel that was about to be renovated,” says Justin Graves, European spa consultant, CTC International.

“I was also responsible for the recruitment, treatments, products and CTC has a management contract to support the spa’s operations.”
