The Carlton Tower Jumeirah in Knightsbridge will reopen on June 1 following the completion of an 18-month, £100m renovation.

The largest in its history, the renovation includes a new Talise Spa designed by architects 1508 and featuring what is reportedly London’s largest 20m-long swimming pool with natural daylight and views through its glass ceiling.

New treatment rooms have been created at the spa, with treatment beds supplied by Lemi and therapies using Aromatherapy Associates, 111Spa/Clinic and Omorovicza, while a gym featuring bespoke Technogym equipment will also offer studio classes.

A bespoke collection has been specially created by French texile supplier RKF Luxury Linen, including a range of linen for the 186 bedrooms, suites and the spa, plus a special kids’ collection.

The Carlton Tower Jumeirah is the European flagship of global luxury hospitality company Jumeirah Group.

The hotel’s general namager, Aaron Kaupp, said: “We are thrilled to welcome back our valued guests following a significant investment and a complete renovation of the hotel with new rooms, restaurant, food and beverage offerings and spa.

“This landmark, international opening is set against the backdrop of a pandemic, which has seen the world and our beloved industry face extreme difficulty. We will be a place to be seen once more, a cornerstone for the local London community as well as a leader of luxury hospitality in the world.”
