Waldhotel at Bürgenstock Resort launches new post-Covid health offering

The five-star Waldhotel Health & Medical Excellence at Bürgenstock Hotel & Resort Lake Lucerne in Switzerland has launched a comprehensive Covid Bounce Back Programme.

The in-house  centre combines Swiss medical expertise and state-of-the-art technology, and the new seven-day offering is tailored to enable guests to recover post-pandemic and attain a more balanced and sustained level of personal health.

The Waldhotel medical wellness centre promotes physical and mental wellbeing through a ‘Healthy by Nature’ concept. Medical director, Prof Dr Verena Briner and her team of medical experts and physicians developed the new preventive programme to help boost the immune system and lower the risk of viral infections while strengthening the body’s response to harmful factors that could lead to immuno-compromised deficiencies.

Extensive physical examinations include ultrasound and blood analysis as well as in-depth lung function tests, biometric scans and an electrocardiogram, while pulmonary physiotherapy and personal training sessions will strengthen guests’ bodies.

Waldhotel’s executive chef Martin Stein also aims to reactive and stimulate guests’ senses of taste and smell during a private cooking class.
