The Bulgari Hotel
The hotel will include features 114 rooms, most of them suites, five signature-dining options all of them curated by chef Niko Romito, one of the world’s most celebrated chefs with three Michelin stars for his Reale restaurant in Abruzzo, and since 2017 at the helm of the culinary project for Bulgari Hotels and Resorts.
Originally designed by architect Vittorio Ballio Morpurgo between 1936 and 1938, the building is decorated with frescos, mosaics and sculptures, and draws on the use of traditional Roman materials and colours, such as ochre Travertine marble and burnt red brick.
“The Bulgari Hotel Roma is a real ‘temple’ of luxury hospitality embodying all the Brand values,” says Babin. “Such as exceptional craftmanship, precious materials, Italian contemporary yet timeless design, excellence, and glamour.”
As with other Bulgari Hotels, Italian architecture and interior design practice ACPV Architects Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel has overseen the architectural project and the interior design of the hotel, which creates a balance between the history and heritage of imperial Rome and the modern fashion brand’s unique style.
