Aurora Spa opens at the new Sandblu resort in Santorini

Located at the foothills of Thira Mountain, Sandblu resort in Santorini has opened with the new Aurora Spa.

The Greek hotel, which  has panoramic views of the Aegean Sea, offers a choice of 61 rooms, suites and villas.

The resort’s 3,65sqm Aurora Spa has collaborated with 111Skin and ESPA for its massage and facials treatments.

The spa, which was created by XKS Architects, has an indoor pool with waterfall jets by KLAFS, experience showers, a sauna and a steam room also by KLAFS.

There are three treatment rooms – two single and one double – with treatment beds supplied by Nilo.

A Technogym-equipped fitness centre offers a schedule of classes including yoga and meditation.

“Our resort sets a new benchmark for luxury stays in Santorini,” said the resort’s general manager Leonadis Anagnostou.

“Aurora Spa plays a key part in this with its broad spectrum of wellness and beauty treatments. We aim to have our guests experience the island like locals, embracing an authentic, craftsman-like vibe.”

The resort also offers multiple additional pools including Blu, the main infinity pool, and Aqua – a serene space designed for relaxation.

Spa uniforms have been supplied by Marianna Lalaouni and towels, robes and spa linens are by Frette. The spa uses Afrodite spa software to streamline its operations.
