Davines Group has announced that Anthony Molet will replace Paolo Braguzzi as CEO and managing director when he leaves the role in May 2021.
Molet joined Davines in 2008 and during a 13-year tenure as North America CEO has implemented structures that have resulted in continuity and steady growth, making North America a key market for the group.
Speaking about his new role, Molet said: “I believe that it is increasingly the responsibility of companies to educate consumers and influence their behaviour towards a more sustainable world.”
Davines Group chair Davide Bollati praised Braguzzi’s contribution to the growth of the group’s brands, which include Davines and [comfort zone].
When Braguzzi the group in 2004, Davines’ turnover was €27m [£24m, $33m]; turnover in 2019 reached €163m [£147m, $197m]. He also led the company to becoming a certified B Corp in 2016 and a Benefit Corporation in 2019.
“The Davines Group’s experience allowed me to implement the business vision I have always believed in, where the company’s success has to come together, in a circle, with a positive impact on people and planet,” said Braguzzi.
Bollati added: “Paolo’s ethical and organisational leadership and consistent commitment not only led the group to successful achievements in terms of financial results, but also significantly contributed to building a sustainability-driven, resilient community.”
