Hästens adds wellness app to sleep portfolio

Created in partnership with renowned cardiologist and mathematician Dr. Jussi Eerikäinen and life potential mentor Peter von Ah, Swedish bed and bedding producer Hästens has introduced a wellness app developed to promote healthy sleep.

Based on Dr. Eerikäinen’s mindset methods, Hästens Restore combines frequency tones and music to create tailored soundscapes for  users throughout the day. Free of charge and open to all ages, the new system is said to complement the ethos of the company, which has been hand-crafting beds since 1852.

Dr. Eerikäinen explains: “Sounds improve our frequency in the brain and how we react when we are experiencing negativity from people, moods, etc. The brain is able to sync with music, which is why I’ve implemented this practice for my clients. I noticed that their stress levels dropped and they appeared to be calmer overall.”

The app aims to improve listeners concentration, focus, gratitude, creativity, productivity, stress management and relaxation, with the overall goal of enhancing sleep quality. It is said to offer more than a traditional mindfulness app, acting as a resource to help change people’s attitudes to everyday life and enabling listeners to improve the quality of their sleep

Hästens beds are found in the rooms and suites at Hotel Britannia, Norway and Lotte Palace, New York, USA.
