Ardencote Manor near Stratford-upon-Avon, purchased by Hiddenwell in 2025, is set to reopen in early 2027 with a 30 treatment room spa.

Hiddenwell, formerly Baron’s Eden, is the collection behind Hoar Cross Hall and Eden Hall. The group is investing £25m in the transformation, which will turn Ardencote into one of the UK’s largest spa resorts.

The spa is designed around a more immersive, experience-led approach to wellness.

Highlights will include a real-snow experience, a spa garden with four vitality pools, thermal facilities and touchless wellness experiences.

The property will also feature a gym and Hiddenwell’s unique hot tub suites, all overlooking a picturesque three-acre lake.

Hiddenwell has revealed the spa will offer a real-snow experience as part of the cold therapy offering and a bespoke rainpool.

Custom-designed exclusively for Ardencote Manor, this enclosed warm-water pool will immerse up to 20 guests in rainfall, with LED projections evoking tropical storms and dramatic weather.

A series of immersive sauna and steam experiences will include juniper and Himalayan salt saunas, aromatic steam rooms and a purpose-built theatre sauna.

Lastly, there will be a dedicated magnesium-enriched bathing and three touchless wellness rooms. Experiences will include sound therapy, salt flotation designed to create a zero-gravity sense of weightlessness, and capsule-style chronotherapy using targeted light.

Set across 83 acres, Ardencote Manor will become Hiddenwell’s third UK destination.

The Warwickshire estate will also feature 68 bedrooms, three restaurants, three bars, and an extensive, state-of-the-art new spa.

Designed around the idea of discovery and escapism, the Hiddenwell brand reflects what it describes as a more contemporary approach to wellness hospitality.

Hiddenwell has also acquired Orsett Hall in Essex.
