A space to find clarity

The spa refurbishment project, which was the vision of architect Georg Hueber, centred around meeting modern wellness aspirations.

Alcielo means ‘heaven’ or ‘sky’ in Italian. The aim was to create openness , a connection to nature, minimalism and a space for guests to find clarity and holistic wellbeing.

“What makes Alcielo unique is its thoughtful design and integration with nature,” said spa manager Monika Mairhofer.

“Built in a way that complements the landscape it resides in, Alcielo’s location in the foothills of the Dolomites transports guests beyond the everyday. The spa embodies heavenly wellness, where every experience embraces slowness and rejuvenates both body and soul.”

Located on the top two floors of Hotel Alpiana, above the pool garden, the spa rises beyond the treetops.

With a total water surface of 570sqm, a saline pool and an adults-only area, the exclusive pool gardens are a place for guests to unwind with mountain views.

Pools and thermal facilities were supplied by Winkler Schwimmbad, Wellnesstechnik and Wellnessbereiche Setz.

Uniforms are by Schneider & Sticker while towels and spa linens are sourced from Prima. In the fitness area, equipment is by Technogym.
