The ninth World Wellness Weekend will take place from September 19-21, 2025. More than 10,000 venues in 160 countries will offer free, feelgood wellness celebrations centred around vitality, serenity, solidarity and sustainability.

The popular annual global event encourages participating venues to inspire consumers to try inclusive wellness activities and classes.

Pure Fiji cosmetics and Navutu Stars Resort will officially kick off the celebrations at sunrise on September 19 in Fiji with aerobics, yoga and spa rituals.

Anara Spa at Grand Hyatt Kauai will close the event at sunset on September 21 with ‘Street Wellness: Strategies For Wellness In A Wacky World’.

“The World Health Organisation keeps sounding the alarm on the rise of inactivity, obesity, insomnia, loneliness and depression. Join us to show how essential wellness is. Wellness is a renewable energy that can light up the world.”

Good health and wellbeing for all

This year, World Wellness Weekend is launching wellmap.org, a new website with a geolocator in 18 languages.

The site will help people find the free indoor group sessions and outdoor recreational activities available globally across the weekend.

Wellness sessions will also be available online on World Wellness WebTV, including training sessions, talks, webinars with holistic practitioners and workshops with massage champions.

World Wellness Weekend is also collaborating with World Cleanup Day (WCD), which is on September 20.

To date, WCD has brought together more than 114 million people in 211 countries to tackle the waste crisis and cleaned up 543,704 tons of waste.

During World Wellness Weekend, venues will clean up parks, beaches, river banks and neighbourhoods, then join a guided relaxation meditation for an inner and mental cleanup.
