Charmaine Harbour joins the team to develop and refine the client journey in the Coach House Spa

Beaverbrook Hotel in the Surrey Hills has announced a new spa director for its Coach House Spa.

Charmaine Harbour brings 20 years of spa and wellness experience and in-depth insight into spa operations, team leadership.

Having begun her spa industry career onboard cruises with Steiner, Harbour has held spa management roles for Macdonald Hotels, Champneys and Harbour Hotels, where she served as group site manager overseeing 11 properties across the UK.

“I’m excited to take on the challenge of enhancing the already beautifully established Coach House Spa. My focus will be on bringing to life the spa’s ethos of nature and light, and refining the client journey to fully immerse our guests in the Beaverbrook experience, emphasising emotional reset and wellbeing.”

Speaking exclusively to European Spa, Harbour said: “Development is already underway, with a new client journey designed in collaboration with our onsite naturopath, Camillia Dos Santos.

“Together, we are guiding guests to be fully present and intentional during their wellness journey, creating a deeply immersive, transformative experience.

“The Coach House is on a journey to become known as the best-kept secret in the Surrey hills. Our wellness offerings are crafted by our master in residence Lino Zinchi, promoting emotional wellbeing and inner calm.”

Jorge De Jesus, group general manager, Beaverbrook, said: “Bringing a wealth of experience with her, Charmaine’s expertise, passion and fresh perspective is invaluable.

“I am confident she will elevate The Coach House Spa to new levels of innovation.”

About the Coach House Spa

The Coach House Spa has six treatment rooms, a relaxation area, a 20m indoor pool and a thermal area with a hot tub, steam room and ice fountain.

There is a hyperbaric oxygen chamber and the spa offers IV infusions by NADclinic as well as Biodynamic Bodywork, RejuvaGlow by Vivienne Talsmat and the Proverb Natural Facelift.

Plant powered products, used in body treatments, are created exclusively for Beaverbrook by AS Apothecary.

Interiors are designed by Brian Clarke, taking visual inspiration from the flowering plants found on the estate.
