Aromatherapy Associates gains Leaping Bunny approval

Luxury wellbeing brand Aromatherapy Associates has gained Cruelty Free International’s Leaping Bunny accreditation, meaning its entire product range is free from animal testing. 

Leaping Bunny Programme

Internationally recognised, the Leaping Bunny Programme sets the highest standards for cruelty-free cosmetics, personal care and household products. To gain the accreditation, brands must meet rigorous global criteria, including animal testing laws. 

The initiative also checks a brand’s supply chain, including both suppliers and manufacturers, for animal testing, and requires that it regularly collects evidence from its supply chain. Ongoing and independent audits are also carried out on the supply chain post-approval.

Cruelty-free products

Aromatherapy Associates has been creating its signature, hand-crafted essential oil blends ethically and sustainably for almost 40 years. 

The brand has described the Leaping Bunny approval as a ‘natural next step’ in its evolution that supports its commitment to prioritising planet and people. 

The news comes after Aromatherapy Associates achieved BCorp status in 2020.
