ESPA reformulates Signature Blend collection to create sustainable hybrid oils

Holistic spa and wellness brand ESPA has reformulated its Signature Blends collection to create a more sustainable product and reduce product waste. 

Previously, the collection was split into single bath and body oils but it has been reformulated to create a hybrid bath and body oil, eliminating the need for two separate products, and therefore reducing waste. 

The collection, billed as ‘spa-level self-care for the mind, body and spirit’, consists of seven signature blends: Fortifying, Energising, Soothing, Restorative, Positivity, Connection and Restful, designed to create elevated aromatic moments, rebalance wellbeing, lift mood and inspire connection.

Described as a ‘purifying blend of vibrant and powerful aromatics’, Fortifying is designed to support and strengthen the mind and body and contains eucalyptus and tea tree, while Energising is a ‘bright, herbal blend’ that features rosemary and peppermint to fight fatigue and recharge the senses. 

Billed as ‘serenity for the senses’, Soothing is a comforting, woody blend, combining myrrh, frankincense, sandalwood and rose geranium to comfort and calm, meanwhile Restorative is a ‘calming, botanical’ blend with floral notes of rose geranium, lavender and palmarosa combined with sweet orange to restore inner and outer harmony.

An ‘uplifting blend of vibrant citrus and heady florals’, the Positivity blend features jasmine, gardenia, bergamot, sweet orange and rose geranium to uplift the spirit, while the Connection blend is a ‘dynamic blend of earthy and feminine’, featuring patchouli, sandalwood and jasmine to encourage communication and connection.

Finally, Restful promises a ‘heavenly night sleep’ and is designed to quieten the mind and soothe the body through the combination of lavender, bergamot and clary sage.

“Each product now combines the two existing formulations, meaning less waste and more sustainability. We’re proud that these dual-purpose bath and body oils fulfil the COSMOS natural certification criteria.
