Oskia partners with Temperley London to create massage candle

Leading skincare brand Oskia has partnered with British fashion house Temperley London to create the new Love massage candle in aid of Women for Women International. 

The candle, which can be used as part of a treatment in Oskia-partner spas or as a retail offering, was inspired by Oskia’s Rose De Mai Skin Smoothing Candle and Temperley’s 2021 bridal collection. 

It is currently being used as part of the Love treatment, an exclusive multi-sensory experience developed for the spa at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park.

First, the candle is burned, filling the room with its scent. Once melted it transforms into a luxurious massage oil that softens and soothes the skin, leaving it nourished, smooth and ‘gloriously scented’. The oil is incorporated into a full body massage before a glow-enhancing facial aims to brighten and illuminate skin.  

“This unforgettable experience ensures the mind, body and soul are smoothed, soothed and faith in energetic love and kindness is restored,” said a spokesperson from Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park. 

A base of beeswax, soybean and coconut oil combine to create the rich oil, while a host of essential oils, including rose, amyris, patchouli, cedarwood, sandalwood and guaiacwood, produce its unique fragrance.
