7Pines Resort Sardinia opens as part of Destination by Hyatt

Resort operator 7Pines has opened a new property, 7Pines Resort Sardinia, which occupies 15 hectares of untouched coastline in Baja Sardinia, overlooking the La Maddalena archipelago as part of Destination by Hyatt. 

The resort offers 76 guest rooms, including 20 suites and eight junior suites, as well as a beach club with its own private jetty, a private beach, four secluded coves and several dining venues. 

Pure Seven Spa

7Pines Sardinia will also be home to the Pure Seven Spa. Few details are currently known but it is scheduled to open in Q3 2023 and will take a holistic approach to mental and physical wellness. 

Described as a ‘sanctuary of wellness and relaxation’, the spa will occupy 800sqm and offer several peaceful treatment rooms and a menu of bespoke rituals, such as massages, facials, scrubs and body wraps, designed to soothe and re-energise body and mind. 

Its facilities will include several thermal experiences, including a steam bath, sauna, experience showers and Kneipp treatments. 

The wellness offering will be completed by several wellness experiences including outdoor yoga classes, Pilates, meditation sessions, a fully-equipped gym and a swimming pool.

The Spirit of the Island

Designed to encapsulate the spirit of the island and its cultural traditions, with the architecture, materials and fabrics all paying tribute to the region’s nature, the resort’s rooms feature locally-sourced granite and white marble from the nearby town of Orosei, as well as ceramics and textiles from local artisans in Samugheo.

Dining destination 

7Pines Sardinia also offers three restaurants, including Capogiro, a fine-dining venue that celebrates the island’s culinary traditions by serving Mediterranean cuisine made with locally-grown, seasonal produce. Spazio is a BBQ restaurant offering a market-style counter where guests can choose their own meats and seafood. Completing the dining offering is The Cone Club, which offers a menu created by Michelin-starred chef Tohru Nakamura in partnership with local producers, fisherman and farmers, with signature drinks created by mixologist Philip Bischoff.

In addition, the resort offers a programme of outdoor pursuits and experiences, including horseback riding, picturesque e-bike trails, helicopter flights along the Sardinian coast and a Ferrari 488 Spider driving experience. 

The resort’s proximity to the ocean means a selection of watersports are also on offer, including snorkelling, kayaking and stand-up paddling. 

Finally, the concierge team can also arrange memorable experiences, including local cookery classes, archaeological tours, visit to local wineries and cheese-making classes.
