KLAFS announces leadership changes as Stefan Schöllhammer steps down after 30 years

Stefan Schöllhammer (above centre) has stepped down as managing director of KLAFS after 30 years with the wellness supplier. 

Replacing Schöllhammer are Phillip Rock (above right) and Gernot Mang (above left), who will split Schöllhammer’s duties between them. 

Rock, who currently oversees technical aspects of the company, will take responsibility for finance and HR, while Mang, who has recently joined the company as managing director, will lead marketing, sales and design.

“Phillip Rock has gained experience in all business areas as my long-standing fellow managing director, while also demonstrating his personal, professional and, above all, strategic qualities,” said Schöllhammer.

“Gernot Mang complements him here with his broad, international range of experience. A focus on the most important trends within the wellness market and on what our customers expect from us here will be their main task. I am certain that they will be very successful in this.

“Employees of the KLAFS Group have always made the difference and are a great strength for us,” he added. 

A shareholder in the company, Schöllhammer will continue to be involved as an advisory board member and has said he remains optimistic about the company’s future. 

“My move to the KLAFS advisory board is done with a very good feeling and with great confidence in the future of the company. KLAFS is a brand that is successful because it has always reinvented itself and adapts with the times,” he explained.  “I am proud that I have been responsible for its design and continuous development for such a long period of time.”
