Croatian-born Orjana Krota has joined the team at Anantara The Marker in Dublin as spa and wellness manager.

Orjana, who has been living in Ireland for the last ten years, has worked at the Irish Anantara Spa previously. In 2015, she was a senior spa therapist at the hotel, when it was known as The Marker.

She went on to work as part of the pre-opening team at Eden One, a private member’s club in Dublin, and now returns to Anantara The Marker to oversee spa operations.

“My mission is to make every guest feel special and looked after, to help them with their wellbeing and wellness journey, by providing tailored treatments to have a truly unique experience every time.”

Orjana began her career in the beauty industry 15 years ago and has worked with a number of high-end, five-star facilities.

“My passion is to help people, making them feel better and aid both their physical and mental wellbeing,” she said. “Getting this job at Anantara The Marker Dublin Hotel feels like coming home for me.”

Orjana will oversee the general operations of Anantara Spa and ensure the atmosphere is fitting for the spa environment. As well as assisting in ensuring the smooth running of the guest journey, she will recruit, train and mentor the team.

She will also implement strategic plans to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.

“While leading and managing all aspects of the spa operations to ensure the highest standards of guest satisfaction, I will also work to foster a culture of excellence and teamwork,” said Orjana

“My role is to maintain and enhance the reputation of the Anantara brand, build strong relationships with guests and elevate spa bookings and retail sales.”

Anantara’s seventh venture in Europe

Overlooking the waterfront on Grand Canal Square in Dublin, spa facilities in Anantara Spa include five treatment rooms, a 23-metre infinity pool, hot tub, sauna and eucalyptus-infused steam room.

The spa offers signature healing and restorative rituals inspired by indigenous Irish ingredients and Irish folklore.

The Five Elements Aroma Facial by Elemental Herbology, for example, combines healing botanicals, vitamins and marine extracts to feed the skin and restore equilibrium.

Therapists can prescribe wood for rejuvenation, fire for zest, earth for balance, metal for detoxifying or water to soothe.
