Formby Hall Golf Resort and Spa in Merseyside has appointed Tanya Andrews as its new spa manager.
Tanya joins the resort’s management team with more than 10 years of experience in beauty therapy and the spa industry.
Having begun her career as a therapist at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire, Tanya has held positions at Macdonald Craxton Wood Hotel and Spa as well as Signature Living Group’s 30 St James Street in Liverpool. She joins Formby Hall from the luxury Lowry Hotel in Salford, where she was the spa and fitness manager.
Responsible for the management and day-to-day running of the spa, Tanya will be focused on driving service excellence, product innovation and staff development.
The spa’s facilities include 10 therapy and treatment rooms, including three couples’ rooms, as well as a ‘thermal heaven’ area with a steamroom, a rasul, heated relaxation beds and a Himalayan salt sauna. The spa partners with brands including ESPA and The Natural Spa Factory.
