Professional skincare brand Dermalogica has launched a new fundraising initiative to support victims of the Ukraine war.
Taking place today (April 20), the brand will donate 100% of the proceeds from its 30-minute treatment sales at all Dermalogica-owned stores, as well as participating retail stores and skin centres across the UK and Ireland, to the Disasters Emergency Committee’s (DEC) Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.
Treatments start from £30 and include the Pro Bright 30, Pro Calm 30, Pro Clear 30, Pro Firm 30, Pro Power Peel 30 and Pro Skin 30 rituals.
Comprising of 15 member charities, including Action Aid, Save the Children, The British Red Cross, Age International and Oxfam, the DEC raises money swiftly and efficiently in times of crisis. Its Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal has raised more than £260 million since launching in March.
“Like many, we have been deeply saddened by the war in Ukraine and the impact on the lives of Ukrainian citizens all around the world,” said a Dermalogica spokesperson.
“Whilst we have already made a monetary donation, we feel we can do more by bringing our community together to raise funds. As such, we are volunteering our time, resources and skills to help in the way we know best.”
